Lorena Gonzalez's contempt for her constituents

Elon Musk sued Alameda County due to the local shutdown of his Fremont factory, and tweeted about the possibility of moving Tesla's operations out of state. He specified that this is just the straw that broke the camel's back, clearly a dig at California's anti business policies.

State Assembly member Lorena Gonzalez immediately cursed him out, tweeting:

F*ck Elon Musk.

Now I'm not a big fan of Tesla, whose business model has been to survive off subsidies to rich people buying luxury cars, but Gonzalez's tone deafness is par for the course.

Gonzalez and her ilk have been passing business killing taxes and byzantine regulations for years and once someone complains, the response is "fuck you". She rightly complained that Tesla has taken millions in subsidies, but that's her own (or her own party's) dammed fault for authorizing these subsidies in the first place. 

A look back to the criticisms of AB5 which she authored, reveals a pattern of this type of behavior. When told that many people's careers were now jeopardized by her idiotic law, she would consistently offer rebuttals such as saying those jobs are "not good jobs to begin with".

Oh, that's great that she thinks people's jobs who they voluntarily entered into and many like, are not good for them. It's great to know that she thinks they should not be allowed to do what they want because she knows better.

So she'll continue to destroy livelihoods and at the same time denounce those very people. Even those that align with her political views have had their livelihoods destroyed, as Vox ended contracts with hundreds of California freelance writers, after articles such as this from Vox that praised AB5's passing.

Thankfully, people are catching on and are starting to call her out on her bullshit.
